Washing With Care

At The Little Darling's Baby Boutique we pride ourselves on choosing the highest quality clothing for babies, toddlers, and children. These beautiful outfits have each been made with love and great care.

A lot of our outfits are made from natural fibers such as organic cotton, merino wool, and cashmere, these are very delicate and need to be treated gently when it comes to washing. 

When looked after, these outfits will last and can be worn over & over. But it is important to take special notice of the care instructions inside each garment. 

Some items may be machine washed on a gentle cycle for a maximum of 30 minutes, however, some are more delicate and must be hand-washed, just like what your Granny would have knitted - this information will be on the label inside of the garment, read these instructions thoroughly. 

For items that must be hand-washed, it is best to gently massage the garment in lukewarm water and add a small amount of your liquid wool detergent, remove the excess water by rolling it into a towel and carefully squeezing, then lay the outfit in the shade to dry. Do not tumble dry or wring the clothing as this will make it difficult for the item to keep its shape.

It is very important that you pay special attention when choosing your detergent, we advise finding a liquid wool detergent.
